Fund Public Schools

Our public schools are the best in Missouri. They serve every child, meet specialized needs, and prepare students for successful futures. 

Brad Christ has sponsored charter school expansion, voted for inter-district transfer and vouchers for private school tuition. These policies defund the school districts we live here for. 

Charter schools and inter-district transfer defunded the school district and hollowed out neighborhoods across St. Louis City. We don't need politicians forcing the same failed policies in St. Louis County. Matt will fight to keep our schools fully funded and protect specialized services that vulnerable students depend on.

Fight For Affordability

Matt knows what it costs to raise a family. With home prices rising and childcare for two children running over $25,000 a year, working families are being squeezed from every direction. Matt and Becca face these same costs every month. That's why he's committed to fighting for policies that lower childcare and healthcare costs, reducing everyday expenses like utilities and ensuring that good jobs with fair wages exist right here in St. Louis. 

Matt will also fight to keep sales taxes from spiraling out of control while Republicans in Jefferson City slash taxes for the wealthy and corporations, forcing local communities to pick up the pieces. Matt wants families like his to be able to afford to live, work, and build their lives here.

Stand With Workers

Republicans in Jefferson City constantly undermine workers. They slash protections, attack organizing rights, and overturn citizen-approved ballot initiatives that benefit working families. Matt supports policies that allow workers to earn paid sick time off and will continue to fight the anti-worker legislation that Republicans champion. Matt believes that when we stand with the unions that fight for fair pay and workplace protections, we all benefit. 

He will advocate for union-led apprenticeship and skills programs to offer meaningful career paths without the burden of crushing debt. Matt will ensure every Missouri worker can earn a living wage, build skills, and provide for their families right here.
