Help flip the 96th!
Matt Vitale was born and raised right here in South St. Louis County. After college, he started his career at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he helped Veterans with vision loss learn the skills and technology they needed to live independently.Â
Matt built his career around digital accessibility and civil rights enforcement. As the Lead Accessibility Specialist for the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights, he trained attorneys nationwide on how to investigate digital access complaints in schools and universities. He learned how to hold institutions accountable, enforce fairness at the highest levels of government, and make systems work for the families who depend on them.
Matt has been married to Becca for 10 years and is a proud dad of two. The Vitale family chose the 96th district because of the strength of the Lindbergh Schools: a comprehensive public school system that serves every child, meets diverse needs, and is accountable to the community. For Matt, supporting public education isn't a talking point. It's personal. His family relies on a school district that is safe, strong, and fully funded for every child.
